We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2019, at the age of 72, Robert J. Sammataro (Melrose, Massachusetts), born in Stoneham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Sammataro and Josephine Sammataro (Castro); his spouses, Joanne DeMattia and Joanne T. Sammataro (DeMattia); his child Nicole Merenda (Jonathan) of Andover; his grandchildren, Anthony Merenda and Grace Merenda; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph DeMattia (Catherine) of Woburn and Marie Santos. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
