He is survived by: his parents, Gerard Downey and Marjorie Downey (Coyle) of Peabody; his sibling Robin Leary (Michael) of Wakefield; his niece Meghan; his nephews, Michael and Patrick Leary; his godmother Phyllis Trippe; and his girlfriend's children, Nikki and Dee.
