Paul E. Feeney Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul E. Feeney of Melrose, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Feeney (Brussard) and Paul E. Feeney; and his sister Catherine Feeney. He is survived by: his son Paul E. Feeney IV (Jillian Feeney); his granddaughter Addison; his daughter Katie Simes (Joel Simes); his grandsons, Connor and Cole Simes; and his siblings, Edward Feeney of Auburn, John Feeney of Melrose, Mike Feeney of Seekonk and Jane Wilson of Melrose. He is also survived by family, Paul leaves behind many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Incarnation Church (425 Upham St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).

“Paul was a good friend of Liz and I. We shared a lot of great times with Paul and his wife Pat (McGuirk), weekends away or just going out locally. Paul was a very good golfer and a ton of laughs. He was also the fastest eater at dinner on the planet. He wouldnt stand for slow play on the golf course, he would walk off. The "Feendog" would always make us laugh He always would speak highly of his daughter Katie and How good his son Paul was in hockey. RIP our friend, Liz and Kerry McNamara”
