She is survived by: her children, Erinn Knowles (Eddie Knowles), Horst Filtzer, Paul Filtzer (Rina Filtzer), Siobhan Mumford (Rich Mumford) and Caitlin Boyns (Marigrace); her grandchildren, Aislinn, Keirnan, Haley, Madeline, Alexa, Sean, Teagan, Bebhan, Katelyn, Tristan and Addison; and her brother Thomas Leo Knowles (Barbara Knowles).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Marigrace's memory.
