She was predeceased by: her husband Edward McCarthy; her children, Daniel McCarthy and Donna Corsaut (James); and her brothers, Ronald, David, Roger and Joseph Doucette.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Hunt of Stoneham, Eddie McCarthy (Cindy) of Melrose, Richard McCarthy of Melrose and Cheryl Irons (Steven) of Cape Coral, FL.; and her sister-in-law Linda Doucette. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
