We bid farewell to Julie (El-Hajj) Foster of Melrose, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Julie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helwe "Julie" El-Hajj and Hanna "John" El-Hajj; and her husband Adam Foster of Melrose. She is survived by: her children, David Foster, Martha Callery of Stoneham, Julie Cronin (Kevin Cronin) of Melrose and Charles Foster of Stoneham; and her grandchildren, Kerrianne Pippy (Andrew) of Melrose, Amanda McKenney (Keith) of Middleton, Johnathan Cronin (Lindsay) of Georgetown, Kara Cronin of Melrose and Isabella Foster of Stoneham, Beloved. She is also survived by 12 siblings and is survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (4 Herbert St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
