Julia M. Cefalo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia M. Cefalo (Melrose, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Julia M. leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Julia M. may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Otto Martensen and Julia Grace Martensen (Murdock); and her sister Christine Meuse of Florida. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Cefalo "Fred" of Gloucester, MA; her daughters, Ariel Cefalo (James Fitzpatrick) of Melrose, MA and Jill "Jilly" Cefalo (Petr Rupaul Rabbit Cefalo) of Prague; and her brother Murdock "Doc" Martensen of Washington. She is also survived by extended family including many nieces, nephews, first and second cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
