He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia J. McKean (Sanborn) of Melrose; and his sons, Arthur J. McKean and Ronald P. McKean. He is survived by: his children, Susan G. McKean Brennan (Richard) of Melrose, Bruce S. McKean (Maureen) and Andover; and his grandchildren, Eric Venturelli, Michael McKean, Matthew McKean, Amanda McKean, Allison McKean, Joseph McKean, Ryan McKean and Ashley McKean.
In lieu of flowers, Joe would be honored if donations were made to the Wounded Warrior Family Support https://wwfs.org whose mission is to provide support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured, or killed during combat operations.
