He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Tim O'Leary; his parents, James A. McDonough and Eileen F. McDonough (Kelly); his wife Attorney Geraldine Heavey of Byfield; his daughter Attorney Mary McDonough of Washington, D. C.; and his brothers, David, Richard and Stephen McDonough. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and countless loving friends.
