With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John H. Fernekees of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on June 17, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore "Ben" Fernekees and Melissa Pickering (Cross); and his siblings, Helen Gallagher, William Fernekees, Jane Nelson, Carol Deines and James Fernekees.
He is survived by: his wife Annelle Fernekees (DiMinico); his children, Heidi Salois of Newton, NH, Danielle Fernekees of Swampscott and John Fernekees (Rachel) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Jacob, Quinn, Benjamin, Philip, Kevin and Aria; and his sister MaryEllen Morris of Plymouth. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
