With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor F. Forrest of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelle Elizabeth Hissey (Wright) and Walter Hissey; her brother Joseph Michael Hissey (late Dorothy); her husband Martin J. Forrest, Jr. of Melrose, MA; her grandchildren, Martin Forrest (Christina), Kerianne Verdonck (late Todd), Tara McCormack (George), Sean Magnus (Iwona), Brendan Forrest, Patrick Forrest (Liz), Ryan Magnus, Clarissa, Adam Forrest (Lindsay), K. Baxter Charlton (Kaylan), David Forrest (Alex), Christopher F. Charlton (Cara), Meghan Britt (Andrew), Timothy Forrest and Douglas; her grandmother Ellie; and her children, Martin J. Forrest, III (Judith) of Topsfield, Elizabeth Magnus (Betty Ann), John of Danvers, Michael Forrest (Janice) of North Reading, David Forrest (Ann) of Melrose and Mary Ann Charlton (Ken) of Melrose.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Robinson Funeral Home (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Incarnation Church (429 Upham St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
