It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen G. Carey of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo J. Carey; her daughter Deborah Ippolito (Carey); and her siblings, Lawrence, Leo, Joseph Coogan, Margaret Sapienza and Marion Pare.
She is survived by: her children, Leo J. Carey Jr. of Malden, Michael Carey (Cherylann) of East Bridgewater, Patrick Carey of Melrose and Carey (Andrea); her grandchildren, Peter, Krista, Karissa, Kaitlin, Kylene and Edoardo; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Gianna, Jack, Cameron, Madison and Zachary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
