Crabtree (Melrose, Massachusetts), born in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, who passed away at the age of 84, on October 5, 2024. As we bid Duane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Duane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Crabtree and Florence Crabtree; his daughter Sarah Ann Crabtree; his grandson Jeffrey James Owen; and his brother Bernard Arthur Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Sayoko Matsumoto of Kurayoshi; his great grandchild Jestina Sarah Owen; his sister Eunice Crabtree Gulliver of Dover-Foxcroft, ME; and his niece Carol Gulliver Hilton of Cumberland, RI.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either (BICS) Berkshire Institute of Christian Studies, Lenox, MA or to Faith Evangelical Church for world missions.
