With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly J. Mercer of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Hurst (Davey) and Ernest Hurst; and her husband John "Jack" Mercer, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, John A. Mercer, Jr. (Julie) of Melrose, James M. Mercer (Megan) of North Carolina and Joseph E. Mercer (Kati) of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Zack, Brian, Jill, Grace, Collin, Jeremy and Jenna; her sister Karen Hurst of Woburn; and her friends, Dianne French, Rita Barry and Sandy Rossetta.
