He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia J. McKean (Sanborn) of Melrose; and his brother Ronald P. McKean. He is survived by: his father Joseph P. McKean; his children, Michael J. of Wakefield, Amanda P. of Wakefield and Matthew A. McKean of Wakefield; his siblings, Susan McKean-Brennan (Richard) of Melrose, Bruce S. McKean (Maureen) and Andover; and his former wife Doreen McKean (Hallissy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
