It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Mae Tirrell of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Edgett and Mary Edgett (Bonner); her husband John F. "Jack" Tirrell, Jr.; her children, Pamela and Sean Patrick; and her grandson Eric Lawrence.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Tirrell (Kevin Joeckel) of Portsmouth, Elizabeth Conflitti (Robert) and John Tirrell (Kristen) of Gainesville, Virginia.; her pet Brandy; and her caregiver Marjorie Deacon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boston Children's Hospital Trust, specifying the Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat Department.
