He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Smith and Mary Smith (Miller); and his brother George H. Smith Jr. (late Susan). He is survived by: his wife Diane DiGregorio (DiGregorio); his daughter Kimberly Smith-McCue (Michael McCue) of Melrose; his grandchildren, Ashley, Julianne, Jillian and Michael McCue; and his sister Cheryl Smith (John) of Danvers.
