He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris; his parents, Mildred Gray and Clarence Gray of Sherborn, MA.; his children, Charlie (Deborah) of Winchester, Connie MacSweeney (John) of Assonet, Chris, Cindy and Cathy; his grandchildren, Jeanine, Alex, Brendan, Caroline, Kyler, Maddie, Mackenzie, Aidan and Aly; his children-in-law, Kisanga Gray and Michael Conena; and his great grandchild Cordelia. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
