With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Robert McElhiney (Medway, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid James Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Anne E. McElhiney (Campbell); and his brother John A. McElhiney, Jr. (Growing). He is survived by: his father John A. "Jack" McElhiney Sr.; and his siblings, Lauri Murray, Mary McElhiney and Robert McElhiney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home (3 Barber St, Medway, MA 02053). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Joseph's Church (151 Village St, Medway, MA 02053). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ridgewood Cemetery (177 Salem St, North Andover, MA 01845).
