He was predeceased by: his wife Joan P. Walthers (Alice); and his daughter Johanna (McCarthy). He is survived by: his children, Catherine Walthers (David Kelliher) of Martha's Vineyard, Sidney Walthers Framson of Centerville, Teresa Walthers of Centerville and Edmund Walthers Jr. (Marcia Da Costa) of Uxbridge; his grandchildren, Case Framson and James Kelliher; and his sister Ellen Blue. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
