He is survived by: his significant other Gladys Jacobs; his children, Kevin Bukis (Karen) of Medway, Diane Bukis of Franklin and Dawn O'Sullivan (John) of Upton; his daughter-in-law Patricia Prewitt of Franklin; his son Brian Bukis; his sisters, Patricia Ippolito and Eileen Brundage; his grandchildren, Beth Bukis, Katherine Gierer (Andy), Joe Bukis (Ally), Nicholas Bukis (Rachel), Ryan Bukis, Padraic and Brian O'Sullivan; and his great grandchild Emersyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
