He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram A., Sr. and Myrtle Nicholas (Bufton); and his sister Nancy McElheney. He is survived by: his wife Jean A. Nicholas (Richards); his children, Bertram A. Nicholas III of Spencer, Katrina Nicholas of Plainville and Margaret Nicholas of Mansfield; his stepchildren, Anne Smith of Lancaster, PA and Michael Subelsky of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Julia, Kaley and Ayla; his great grandchild Lincoln; and his sisters, Betty June Nicholas of Clinton and Mary Lou LaShomb of Clinton. He is also survived by three nephews.
