She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willis Colby and Alma Colby (Petrie); her children, Steven Gately (Polly Parke) of Dedham, Gail Bowen (Sam) of Douglas, Diane Gately (Kathleen Seaman) of Norwood, Janet Dionis (Ted) of Wrentham and Carol Gately of Dedham; and her siblings, Ann Eldridge of Kingston, Karen Hall of Brockton and David Colby. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
