It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara E. Gately (Medway, Massachusetts), born in Douglas, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willis Colby and Alma Colby (Petrie); her children, Steven Gately (Polly Parke) of Dedham, Gail Bowen (Sam) of Douglas, Diane Gately (Kathleen Seaman) of Norwood, Janet Dionis (Ted) of Wrentham and Carol Gately of Dedham; and her siblings, Ann Eldridge of Kingston, Karen Hall of Brockton and David Colby. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
