He was predeceased by: his former wife Bridget "Tess" McGrath; his parents, Williams J. McGrath, Sr. of Knockanore and Nora McGrath of Gortnaglogh; and his sister Eileen McGrath of Springfield. He is survived by: his child Claire McGrath of Malden; his sister Maureen Tardelli (John) of Medford; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Sweet of England and Marié O Sullivan of Ireland; and his wife Bridget O Sullivan. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
