She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander C. Demeter; and her parents, Harry B. Ballou and Geraldine Ballou (Ritson). She is survived by: her son Dean R.; her daughter-in-law Janine M. Demeter of Lynn; her daughter Faith Demeter Longobucco of Torrington, Connecticut.; her grandchild Kerry Gallagher of Binghamton; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Kennedy, Logan and Scarlett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
