He was predeceased by: his son Paul; and his parents, Paul Gantz and Muriel Gantz (Rudolph). He is survived by: his children, Jason (Jacinta), Jessica (Jay) of Medford, Danielle (Tony) of Medford, Brittany (Adam) of Woburn, Daniel of Woburn, Timothy (Sean) of Woburn, Brady of Woburn, Isabella of Woburn and Kayleigh of Woburn; his wife Michele Gantz (Smith); his friend Bill Wilson; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Elissa, Joseph, Olivia and Melanie.

Interment will be held in the Bourne National Cemetery, in Bourne, MA, Monday morning, September 13th at 10:30 a. m. Please, in lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to: The Gantz Children's Scholarship Fund, 6 Russell St. Woburn, MA 01801.
