We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, Robert Emmett Skerry Jr. of Medford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Emmett Skerry, Sr. and Frances Carolyn Skerry (Lewis); his close friend Maria C. DeMarco; his nephew Richard Robert Giovino (Vanessa); his sister Marilyn Ann Frank (late William) of Attleboro; his nieces and nephews, Robert P. Frank, Jennifer A. Frank-Furtado (Mark), Melissa A. Faloon (William), Meaghan C. Frank and Christopher R. Frank; and also, Margaret M. DeMarco (Claire), Avery, Emerson and Sloane. He was also cherished by cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Joseph's Church (118 High St, Medford, MA 02155).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Bob's memory be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center (https://giving.massgeneral.org) or Dana Farber Cancer Center (https://www.dana-farber.org).
