He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Thorud and Alice Thorud (Engberg); and his sister Jaqueline "Jackie" Reinke (Ray). He is survived by: his spouse Nicolina "Nikki" Thorud (Calococci); his children, Denise Thorud of Medford and Scott Thorud (Joanne) of Tewksbury; his grandson Trent Sullivan of Manchester, NH.; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Calococci of Medford and Thomas Calococci (Ginny) of Melbourne; and his aunt Gloria Harrington of Medford. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
