He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fitzpatrick and Ann Fitzpatrick (Laughlin); his wife Norma C. Fitzpatrick (Flanagan); and his siblings, Robert, Katherine, Joseph, Elizabeth, Hugh, James and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Richard E Fitzpatrick Jr. (Kathleen) of Gloucester, Kevin Fitzpatrick (Jane) of Medford, Kathleen Fitzpatrick (Paul Sokolski) of North Woodstock, NH, Sean Fitzpatrick of Medford, Brian Fitzpatrick of Swampscott, Michael Fitzpatrick (Nancy) of Danvers and Ronald Fitzpatrick of North Woodstock, NH.; his grandchildren, Richard Fitzpatrick III, Daniel, Bridget, Leah, Timothy, Joseph, Patrick, Katie, Sean, James, Aiden, Michael and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Grace, George, Maya, Eamon, Juliette, Evelyn, Finnegan, Shannon and Evan; and his sister Pat. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
