He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" (MacInnis); his son David Nichols (Debra) of Andover; his grandchildren, Kate Evans (Bryan) of Boston and Hannah Nichols of Boston; his great grandchild Eddie Evans; and his siblings, Raymond Nichols of Wilmington and Doris Gordon of Gaithersburg.
