He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Penta and Assunta Penta; and his parents-in-law, Salvatore and Luisa Melillo. He is survived by: his wife Assunta Penta (Melillo); his sons, Anthony "Tony" Penta (Laurie) of Medford, Salvatore "Sal" Penta (Jennifer Harris) of Camarillo, CA and Pasquale "Pat" Penta (Cheryl) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Austin, Zachary Penta of Mansfield, Jacob, Tristan Penta, Lauryn and Kayleigh Penta of Medford; his siblings, Carmela Peroni, Elena Sarno, Sessina Mele and Giuseppe "Joe" Penta; his siblings-in-law, Arturo Mele, Silvio Melillo (Anna), Thomas Melillo (Maria), Elio Melillo (Carmela) and Remo Melillo (Elena); and also Cindy Penta (Laser) of Camarillo, CA. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
