She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Amaral. She is survived by: her daughters, Lena Amaral of Medford and Diane Herter (Bill); her granddaughters, Renee, Danielle and Gina; her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Fiona, Connor, Daniel, Djavan, Aaralyn and Darion Jr.; and her sisters, Manuela Bitto of Rhode Island, Leonor Paula of Florida and Elsa Adriano of Toronto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
