He is survived by: his wife Anita Paternese (Leventoyannis); his son Michael "MJ" Paternese of Medford; his sisters, Brenda Corso (late Jerry) of Swampscott, Donna Alessi (Richard) of Medford and Janice Galeno (Jim) of Winchester; and his nieces and nephews, Rich Alessi, Jaime Alessi, Jonathan Corso, Joey Corso and John Michael Galeno.
