With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mia Pfitzer (Medford, Massachusetts), born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2018 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth and Charles Reid McCrossan. She is survived by: her husband Gregory M. Pfitzer; her daughter-in-law Michael C. of Medford, MA; her daughter Sally J. Pfitzer of Medford, MA; her brother Francis X. of North Kingstown, RI; her sister-in-law Patricia K. McCrossan of North Kingstown, RI; her brother Stephen C. of Medfield, MA; her sister-in-law Kathleen C. McCrossan of Medfield, MA; her sons, Bussing, North Broadway and Saratoga; and also Caitlin F. Pfitzer of Medford, MA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Charlie Scholarship, 5180 Nelson Ave. Ext., Ballston Spa, NY 12020, a fund Mia established in honor of her father through the Ballston Spa Community Band to support the music education of young aspiring musicians.
