It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Zanetos) Karalekas of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Zanetos and Christine Zanetos (Tremblas); her children-in-law, Xenophon Gallas and Richard Brady; her sister Helen Stavrakopoulos; and her granddaughter Mary Gallas.
She is survived by: her children, Fay Gallas of Medford and Christine "Tina" Nagar (Moshe Nagar) of Israel; her sibling Thimios J. Zanetos (Mary) of St. Louis; her brother-in-law John of Greece; her grandchild Kim Grinev (Roman) of Maryland; her great grandchildren, Eleni Gallas of Medford and Zachary Grinev of Maryland; her nieces, Laura Zanetos of Lynn and Christine Cornelius (Lorren); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Thimios of Florida and Efthemia Malandruccolo (John); and also, John Vincent of New Jersey, Dimitri Stavrakopoulos (Gloria), George (Glykeria) and Eleni of Greece.
