She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo Vitale; her sister Stella McParland; and her parents, Philip Santoro and Edna Santoro (Goullaud). She is survived by: her siblings, Felix Santoro and Adeline Ansaldi; her daughters, Mary Heap (Richard) and Josephine Vitale; her son-in-law Walter Kelly; her grandchildren, Thomas Austin (Leeann), Derek Austin (Siana), Michael Austin (Shirley), Steven Vitale, Brian Kelly (Jess), William Kelly and Christopher Kelly (Julie); and her great grandchildren, Ryan Austin (Shannon), Kendle Austin, Angeline Austin, Valentina Austin, Gianna Austin, Liliah Vitale, McKenzie Kelly, Lexi Kelly and Connor Kelly. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
