She was predeceased by: her husband Michael C. Burke; her parents, Francis Gaffney and Mary Gaffney (Rooney) of Ireland; and her siblings, Kathleen Rooney of Ireland and John Gaffney of Ireland.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Leahy (Paul) of Medford, Teresa DiCarlo (Joseph) of Cranston, RI, Bernadette Flaherty (Daniel) of Walpole, Eileen DiMartino (Robert) of Medford and Michael Burke (Teresa) of Woburn; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Mark), Jerry, Erin, Logan, Jackson, Frankie, Lauren and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn and Ryleigh. She is also survived by her family and caring for and spoiling her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (71 Central St, Stoneham, MA 02180).
