With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce L. Lavoie of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Garten and Mary Garten (Boncore); and her husband Arthur E. Lavoie. She is survived by: her children, Donald Lavoie (Catherine) of Bradenton, FL and Tracy Beers (Robert) of Peabody; her grandchildren, Evan, Justin and Ryan; and her siblings, William Garten (Carmella) of Saugus, Beverly Mealey (Don) of South Carolina and David Garten (Sylvia) of California. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
