It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph M. O'Keefe of Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O'Keefe and Rose O'Keefe (Rocco); his wife Lenora "Lee" (DeAngelis); and his daughter Kathleen (Jason Barber). He is survived by: his siblings, Marguerite, Frank, John and Barbara; and his children, Karen Chandler (late Emerson), Michael (Janice), Mark (Jennifer), Joe and Lee. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

“The Collins family extends their heartfelt sympathy to the family. Although my parents, Dick and Ann enjoyed a few chance meetings after your father moved to Winchester, our memories go way back. During the blizzard of ‘78 when all the roads were closed and the pizza truck could not leave the driveway, Mr O’Keefe graciously cranked out hot pizza to all who were around. We ate standing on the snow-packed roads among 2-ft snow banks, with sun shining down. May you all enjoy many happy memories!”
