He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angela Cintron (Amico) and John D. Byers (Sandra); his brother Phil Byers (Stephanie); his nephew Philip Byers, Jr.; his sister Danielle Byers Anderson (Robert); his stepsister Susan Cappuccio (Wade); his grandparents, Michael Amico, Frances (Coniglio), Donald Byers and Natalie (Fratto); his pet Twinkie; and also, Alex and Alyssa. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Johnny was a dedicated supporter of both "The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association" and "The Jimmy Fund", where he would walk the city streets, going house to house collecting donations for both organizations.
