It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. McLaughlin of Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McLaughlin and Margaret McLaughlin (McDonough) of Medford; his wife Patricia McLaughlin (O'Brien); his daughter Kathleen McLaughlin; and his siblings, Charlie McLaughlin (Jane), Bernie and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Merrill (Michael) of Medford, Janet Bonitatibus (Bob) of Reading and John McLaughlin (Janice) of Medford; his grandchildren, Meagan Rooney (Kurt), Maura Dowler (DJ), Michael Merrill, Rob Bonitatibus, Katelyn Bonitatibus and Jenna McLaughlin; his great grandchildren, Emily, Conor Rooney and Colton Dowler; and his siblings, Mary Clougher (late John), Bill McLaughlin (Margaret), Barbara McGonagle (Frank), Rose Marie McLaughlin and Marion McLaughlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
