He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Patricia Gaffey (Bonner) of Boston Loving; his child Ann C. Gaffey of Philadelphia; his parents, Andrew F. Gaffey and Catherine Gaffey (Maloney); and his siblings, Andrew Gaffey, Edward Gaffey, Catherine Everett, David Gaffey and Claire Linnehan. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends invited Funeral from the Gaffey Funeral Home 43 High St. Medford Square Medford on Monday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph Church Medford at 10 am Visiting hours Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm In lieu of flowers donations in John's name maybe made to the Aberjona Resident Council/Activities 184 Swanson St. Winchester MA 01890 Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
