The passing of Jean M. Bando of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Scales and Catherine Scales (Riley); her husband Anthony Bando; and her siblings, Joan Schultz, Daniel Sprague and Leo Scales.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Bates (Mark) of Medford, Joanie Kwiatkowski (Joseph) of Hudson, NH, Anthony V. Bando Jr. (Darlene) of Yorke and Charles "Chuck" Bando (Judy) of Yorke, Maine.; and her siblings, Margaret Hennigan of Melrose, John Sprague and Francis Sprague of Everett. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George L Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (118 High St, Medford, MA 02155). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
