It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean E. Swan of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert N. Swan; and her parents, Leon Furr and Iva Furr (Talbot). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer L. Parham of Austell, Georgia, Jeanette M. (Stephen Douglas) of Medford, Michele L. Allen of Woburn and Pamela "Jody" (Mark Kloongian) of Medford; her siblings, Esther Ellis of Peabody, Dawn Lewis of Revere, Leon Furr (Perla), Natick and Ronald Furr (Jill) of Massachusetts; and her stepsons, Al Swan, Jr. of Connecticut and Mark Swan of Florida. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
If you would like to do something in her memory, Mom had asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, West Medford Community Center or Care Dimensions Hospice Care and Support Services.
