She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Heafey and Mary Emily "Emma" Heafey (Fitzpatrick); and her brother Paul Heafey. She is survived by: her husband James "Jack" McDevitt; her children, Michael J. McDevitt of Medford, Mark McDevitt, Suzanne of Milton and Christopher P. McDevitt (Katharine) of Milton; her grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Ryan and Timothy; and her sisters, Maureen Carew and Patricia Rotondi.
