Irene Granara Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Granara (Medford, Massachusetts), born in East Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Granara Sr.; her son Eugene Granara Jr.; and her granddaughter Nora Patterson (Buffy). She is survived by: her children, Linda Scali, Joseph Granara, William Granara of Cambridge and Jacqueline Granara-Gorecki of Malden; and her grandchildren, Jaime Murray (Jenna Murray) of Dorchester and Michael Gorecki. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Final arrangements will be private at Irene's request, and in lieu of expressions of sympathy, donations may be sent to St. Jude Research for children in her name.
