She was predeceased by: her husband Paul L. Hartford; and her brother Norman Butler (Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Diana M. Siteman (Michael) of Hudson, NH and David L. Hartford (Dana) of Reading; her siblings, Robert Butler (Ellen), Charlotte Potter, Lillian Wieland (Howard), Shirley Pappas and Walter Butler (Joyce); her grandchildren, Sara, Cady Siteman, Emily and Lauren Hartford; and her close friend James McHugh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
