He was predeceased by: his parent George Grant; his son Jeffery George Grant; and his siblings, Clarence Grant and Marie Smith. He is survived by: his parent Olivia Grant; his wife Geneva R. Grant; his daughter Olivia "Libby" Gavin (Freddie); his grandsons, Charlton A. Grant, Marcus G. Gavin, Ashton S. Grant and Kyle A. Gavin; his daughter-in-law Sybrenia Grant; his siblings-in-law, Julia Grant of Carver, Thomas Rolland and Gilbert Rolland (Willie Mae); his great grandchildren, Harmony Lee Gavin and Harley Grant; and also, Wanda Pierce and Richard Pierce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to support the Youth Programs at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Solid Rock Baptist Church.
