He was predeceased by: his parent George H.; and his sibling Robert Martel. He is survived by: his spouse Janet T. Martel (Marchand); his parent Nora R. Martel (Bestick); his children, Joanne Lennox (Jamie) of Flower Mound, TX and George Martel Jr.; his wife Lisa Gianino; his sibling Joane Boose; and also, Stephen Martel (Deb) of Apple Valley, MN, Jacqueline Merrick (Thomas) of Tampa, FL, Denise DeVitto (Paul) of Naples, FL and Laura Morin (Scott) of Washington, NH.. He is also survived by grandchildren and 5 loving great grandchildren.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in George's memory to the M.S.P.C.A - Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
